Independents top Which? high street shop survey

Independent retailers scored highly in the Which? annual survey of the best and worst UK shops.

In the list of 100 stores, Independent DIY and decorating stores came third, with an overall customer satisfaction score of 76%.

Independent stores featured highly in the top 10, including furnishing, homewares and electrical shops.
