Payroll for Colorado and electronic services for Utah

Today we’re pleased to announce Xero Payroll is available in Colorado and support for electronic filing and payments is available for Utah.

Xero online accounting and payroll software is easy to implement and use from anywhere. Payroll information flows seamlessly to keep the books up to date, with journals created automatically.

Colorado Payroll

If you have employees in Colorado you can now add them your payroll system and process pay runs. All the calculations are taken care of for you automatically. Pay your employees via direct deposit or with instant paychecks. And timesheets are included at no extra cost for all employees.

Detailed reports are available to help you keep track of your company’s payroll information. Employees can even enter their own timesheets, view time off and pay history with their own employee app.

Colorado Payroll Taxes

We’re currently working to bring electronic payroll filing and payments to Colorado for one-click processing. Until then you’ll need to manually file and pay your payroll taxes directly with the Colorado Department of Revenue and Department of Labor and Employment.

Don’t worry, we’ll be sure to tell you when and what you have to file and pay. You’ll just need to complete this outside of Xero for now.

Utah Electronic Services

Our customers in Utah can now take advantage of one-click electronic tax filing and payments from Xero. It’s easy to meet your tax obligations from anywhere, at anytime.

You’ll see all upcoming payroll filing and payment obligations on the Payroll Overview. You can find detailed information available under Taxes & Filings.  Payroll in Xero calculates relevant business days and displays both the File By and Due By dates to keep you informed of key dates.

More Payroll in Xero

We’re pleased to confirm that the next available states for Payroll will be Indiana, Tennessee, Maryland, Illinois and New Hampshire. These will start to become available really soon.
