Join Team Sage at the Great North Run, help us raise money for Cancer Research and try to beat Sage CEO, Stephen Kelly to the finish line.
Our people at Sage UK and Ireland have raised £380,000 to support the great work of Cancer Research UK, and we won’t stop there. There are already 200 Sage colleagues signed up for the Great North Run, and we’d like you to join us.
We have a limited amount of places available for you to take part in the world’s biggest half marathon and run from Newcastle to South Shields on Sunday 13 September.
To make it even more interesting, this year our CEO, Stephen Kelly is running and has set a challenge to raise even more money for charity.
He’s throwing down the gauntlet to all members of Team Sage – colleagues, customers, partners and guests to try and beat his time to the finish line. He’ll donate £2 for every minute that a registered member of Team Sage runs faster than him.
You don’t have to be a super speedy runner to join in. Stephen says, “Don’t worry if you’re not a competitive runner, I still want you to run and be part of a fantastic Sage Team charity effort.”
“What better way to raise money for such a fantastic cause and we have plenty of charity spaces available if you want to take part. Dust down those running shoes and let’s hit the streets for a noble cause!”
Want to be part of Team Sage?
If you want to join Team Sage by taking one of our spaces for Cancer Research UK, email to register your interest before 5 June. There is no individual minimum donation required as we will be fundraising as a team.
If you already have a ballot place email us by the 5 June and we’ll add you to Team Sage – you can still be part of our fundraising efforts and challenge the CEO.
The sooner you let us know – the better chance of a place. Closing date is 5pm on 5 June.
